What is a “Meal Kit”?

A Meal Kit makes home cooking fun and easy for everyone to enjoy. Each kit comes with step-by-step instructions for healthy Filipino recipes, pre-prepared and portioned out ingredients and an insulated box to keep everything fresh from our farms to your fridge.

What is the minimum amount for delivery, where do you deliver and what are the delivery fees?

Our minimum order amount is P500 while delivery fees may vary depending on your location. We currently only deliver to the following cities in Metro Manila, Philippines.

When are the order cut-offs and delivery dates?

Order cut-offs: 10pm Sunday and Thursday

Delivery days: Wednesday and Sunday

Do you have plant based options?

Yes. You may also request to convert recipes into fully plant based.

Can we return the boxes, insulation and containers?

Here at Simple Roots, we believe in trying to minimize our waste and ecological footprint as much as possible. You may return the insulation, boxes and containers to us by scheduling it with us on your next order. We will then recycle these and send them to the proper processing facilities.

Missing items, Refunds, Cancellations Policy

Upon receiving your meal kit, you must double check if all the ingredients are in the box. Should you have any items that are either spoiled or missing, you have 24 hours to report it to us and we will replace it right away. Any claims made beyond 24 hours upon receiving will not be valid.

Here at Simple Roots we have a policy of guaranteed freshness. Since we are working with farms far and wide, we have strict no refund and no cancellation policy once orders have been paid for. This is to ensure that no food and hard work goes to waste. Should there be any errors made by our team, then we can have the option to replace or partially refund the item on a case to case basis.
